L. Colin Ress, DDS

Dr Lewis Colin Ress attended the Indiana University school of dentistry at Indianapolis, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1984. He worked in private practice in Indiana for four years prior to permanently relocating to Connecticut. Dr. Ress has been practicing at Advanced Dental Care in East Hartford for over 30 years. He has been recognized as a top dentist by the Consumer Research Council of America several times throughout his career.

Dr. Ress is certificated in Invisalign and has completed certification course with Maxicourse in Oral Implantology along with several other Implant and Oral Surgical related courses. He has a passion for learning the latest techniques and technology to the benefit of his patients.

Darya Olegovna Barshak, DDS

Dr. Barshak earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. To provide her clients with state-of-the-art multi-disciplinary treatments, she pursued extensive training via internationally renowned implant coursework and two residency programs — Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Maryland and General Practice Residency at Bellevue Hospital Center of Manhattan. Dr. Barshak has a background in scientific research and keeps up with advancements in dental biotechnology. She is passionate about modern preventative, restorative, esthetic, and surgical solutions for her clients’ unique needs.

Outside of creating confident and healthy smiles, Dr. Barshak enjoys nature retreats, learning about cultures, as well as contemporary and classical art, film, and literature.
