About Teeth Cleaning

At the same time as dental emergencies can strike each person, every time, our sufferers who commit to regular preventive care appointments typically enjoy fewer problems through the years. Professional cleanings with a registered dental hygienist permit us to take a proactive approach on your dental health and cope with issues whilst they may be small. No matter your outstanding efforts, deposits of mineralized plaque, referred to as tartar, adhere to regions of the tooth. Those deposits create a nice domestic for thousands and thousands of dangerous micro organism. Left unchecked, they flood pollution into the gums resulting in devastating continual problems and can even result in the dearth of enamel.

While tartar is eliminated at your professional hygiene appointment, it doesn’t have the possibility to produce irreversible damage. We use professional devices and prescription electricity sprucing paste that lightly buffs away stain and plaque, leaving your tooth extremely-smooth and vivid. Because of the fact that discoloration settles into the teeth of your teeth over the years, this helps gradual yellowing whilst creating a glassy floor for higher cleaning.

Health Tips & Info

Another significant factor in your oral health is your diet. Acidic foods and drinks can erode enamel just as a balanced diet can help keep your teeth and gums strong and healthy. Regular professional exams and cleanings, a dedicated at-home hygiene routine, and a healthy, balanced diet can help prevent minor issues from becoming major procedures.

Dental Office Closure Due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Our top priority is the health and well-being of our patients, families, staff and community. In this unprecedented time, we are deeply committed to keeping everyone safe. Considering the evolving pandemic and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close our practice for the next [week/two weeks]. We believe that this closure will allow us to more effectively evaluate this dynamic situation and assist in following the CDC’s guidance on social separation. If you have an appointment scheduled with us this week, our office will be in touch to help reschedule your appointment. There WILL be a dentist on call in the event of a dental emergency. Should you require emergency dental care, please call our office as you normally would or email and one of our dentists will contact you. We did not make this decision lightly. A great deal of care, research and planning guided our decision. We will continue to evaluate the situation as it evolves and determine on a weekly basis when it is appropriate for us to return to our normal business hours. Again, please understand that we are making this decision with the health and well-being of our patients, our families, our team and our community in mind. We wish all of you continued health and strength during this challenging time.
